My friends, my joy

I am extremly proud of all my friends. The ones who I have written about here are the ones that I hold dear and have come to mean much to me, I would like to write about more, and am going to make additions shortly.

Dipali Gupta, who has been a friend forever, infact her aunt and my mother went to college together and were good friends so we have known their family for a long time. She has the ability to disappear for a long period with no news and then just like that reappear, she is in the US now, her younger sister, Sonali, is an excellent lawyer and is great fun to be with.

Rishi Bhasin, my dear old friend from school days, we have spent some lovely times while growing up, he is now in the US.
He has always been very fond of having himself photographed and needless to say I have been subjected to taking the pictures on numerous ocassions.

Navdeep Dutta, a dear friend, is a banker and looks like one !!! He has been always been there for me and is great fun and a good sport, though he can get to be a little serious sometimes and has to be reminded to relax, he lives in Ambala, a town about 50 kilometers from Chandigarh.

Harminder Samra, is an artist, is not a very old friend but is a dear one, we have our points on which we agree and just as many on which we disagree, well actually those might be more. He has married a wonderful girl, Aradhana and they both live in Australia now.

Crown Prince Aishwarya Katoch of Kangra, the Prince's grandfather and my father were very close friends and our families have known each other for about 900 years, in which we have had wars with each other too, but for the both of us I see no wars just friendship.
Both of us have summer homes in Dharamshala and infact are minutes away from each other, and being in Dharmashala is much more fun because of him and his wife.

Princess Devendra Kaur Saheba of Faridkot, whom I met in a book shop for the first time, and that day and now, there is no stopping us, she has a wonderful sense of humour and is deliciously wicked.

Jane Perkins, an editor-author who has shifted to Dharamshala, and helps me with gardening in HK, she is a good person, minus the times that she leaves me 'stink mails' when the staff uproots her flowers, because they do not 'see how beautiful wild plants look' and 'the beauty of rocks and slate in the garden' but that aside it is because of her that I enjoy gardening.
She also has the ugliest dog in the world, called 'Duchess of Khajanchi Mohalla' ( named after the area that Jane lives in ) and though Jane would not agree, she is herself the 'Empress of Khajanchi Mohalla' anyone can see what I mean if they see her walking around her neighborhood .

The dutch beauty, Dr. Marijke Olde Olthof, who is beautiful not only on the outside but the inside too, I met her when she came to Dharamshala to do volunteer work for the Tibetans for a year, I was amazed by her dedication and her never ending energy in taking care of the sick.
She is now in Ireland and she visits India when ever she can.

Dr. Manjot Kalra, who is a spiritually awake human being, we met as we have the same mobile number with only the company's single digit being different, a friend sent a message to me but by mistake she got it, they got in touch, learned what had happened and hit it off well, then we too met and realised that we had more in common than just phone numbers, now we regularly meet over cups of coffee.

Harinder Singh, who I call Harry, we went to the same school and the most amazing thing about him is the foul language he uses !!!!! It is hilarious rather than offensive, I don’t know why but everyone finds it to be a riot!!!

Pavz, words fail me, infact this section is not the place and I will have to come up with a new web page with the heading "Pavz" his faith in God amazes me and is a constant reminder what every person must strive to be.

Bikramjeet, a lawyer who is one of the kindest people I have come across.

Sam has given so much laughter to my life, a friend who has been sent by God.

There are lots more who have brought happiness into my life by being just themselves, some are very very private people who I have not mentioned as they might not like to be mentioned here as they say 'the net is too public' while others say "hmmm how come I am not there?" all of them are important to me mentioned or not, near or far.
