I have never been fond of owning houses and think two houses are ideal, small cottage style houses with grounds, one in the plains for the winters and one in the mountains for the summers.

A perfect house must have lots of flowers and plants, inside and outside, and the atmosphere should echo with the sounds of birds and of course be filled with pets of all kinds, tails, feathers and fins.

The inside should be comfortable, cosy and welcoming with memories in the form of photos and things collected over many years in travels.

I spend my time between homes in Kutlehar, Dharamshala and Chandigarh.

An old saying, all one really needs is a six feet long, six feet deep and a three feet wide space in the end so why bother collecting bricks?
